This duo’s success is based on three things: skill, experience and complementarity. Kelly Saez, founder of Performance Business School, is responsible for the school’s system and strategy. She has a perfect command of training finance schemes, which is a major asset in supporting students in their career path. Sandrine Ricciardo, the co-founder, has over 13 years of teaching experience. She trained in executive coaching and obtained a diploma from the Haute Ecole de Coaching in Paris. She is specialised in training course design and decided to create a business school alongside Kelly Saez in her hometown of Sanary-sur-Mer. For her, “educational engineering is much more than a profession, it is a vocation and a passion which has to be shared.” That’s why they make it a point of honour to set an example by remaining teachers. 

The adventure began for them in June 2022 when they created the school after noticing the lack of higher business education outside large urban areas and the heavy constraints that geographical distance imposes on students and their parents in terms of expenses. A market study on the needs of local companies convinced them to set up their training unit in Sanary-sur-Mer, a small-scale coastal resort, light years away from the large impersonal campuses. PB School is ideally located between the cities of Marseille and Toulon, in a dynamic commercial area which is currently undergoing a boom. 

PBSCHOOL

The primary objective of Performance Business School is to make higher education accessible both by its geographical location and by its training offer, thus guaranteeing each young person a recognized and certified quality period of training, as well as personalized support throughout their course. With a maximum of 20 students per class, the lessons are specific, precise and correlated to both global and local market needs. They focus on careers in sales, management, business engineering, human resources, marketing or real estate. The stated desire of the two directors is to create the link between companies and students by offering a flipped learning approach in which students are actors in their professional life. The work-study program, which allows students to train for a profession, is one of the school’s strong points. This training system, which is punctuated by practical and theoretical stages, is proving to be very effective. All PS School students benefit from personalized coaching through Soft Skills workshops.
