There's something new at CIAM... and not just a little! This May, a new marquee is making its appearance: the Magic Mirrors. Warm, elegant, a touch retro, adaptable as desired, and above all, spectacular. The Magic Mirrors is taking up residence at the CIAM, to the delight of the region's businesses. A new space to gather, collaborate, and exchange, with that unique festive touch specific to circus arts! And while this new big top is taking root, the circus is expanding elsewhere. This Saturday, May 24, The Nights [in motion] invest the Silvacane Abbey in La Roque d'Anthéron. A suspended tour-show, imagined by the artist Marie Molliens, where the heritage comes to life, the bodies speak and the stones resonate with fragile and powerful gestures. A moment out of time, between the nave, cloister and gardens guided by the artists themselves!
From the nave to the garden, the audience will be guided by the artists themselves in this new spectacular tour through glass, mirrors, and precarious balances. Tightrope walker, director, and major figure in contemporary circus, Marie Molliens, associate artist of CIAM, creates an intense and poetic evening blending fragility, precision, and emotion.
