Frisson
Ice-cream, coffee & culture
By Anne Emellina, Laurence Jacquet et Pauline Weber
Olivier and Sylvain used to work for the Colette concept store but opted to open this place in Vieux-Nice, where they clearly mean to make their mark. Good foods, lifestyle and design have united to create Frisson, an ice cream parlour with a difference: buffalo milk ice cream (light and low-sugar), a choice of coffees roasted in Nice, unusual teas and Sicilian-type brioche gelato. The third string to their bow is culture. They sell art, architecture and music magazines and hold previews of the artists and brands they like.
