White 1921 Hotel welcomes chef Mory Sacko, a rising star in French gastronomy and head chef of Michelin-starred restaurant MoSucke in Paris. Louis Vuitton’s first restaurant serves food that reflects the art of travel, with globe-trotting recipes influenced by African and Japanese cuisine. Diners are tempted by the culinary variations on the ekiben (the meal tray served on Japanese trains), in which the chef revisits specialities in a delicious, eye-catching way, served on a wooden tray. In the evening, diners travel around the world with melting-pot tapas – veggie aubergine tacos, grilled lobster, prime rib, tajines accompanied with raw fennel and mango salad, and plantains with smoked sweet pepper. Lunch and dinner are served in small rooms decorated with Louis Vuitton’s Monogram fabric and furnishings from its Objets Nomades collection.
