The Marine Baths of Marseille reopen their doors with a renewed ambition: to offer an experience of holistic care, where the sea, science and humanity meet.
Located on the seafront, just minutes from the city center, this urban marine spa is part of a long seaside tradition. The space has been redesigned under the leadership of its director, Alexandra Bouchard, who wanted to put treatment back at the heart of the experience. A nutritionist by training, she envisioned a space where guests not only come to relax, but also to begin a genuine process of physical and mental transformation.
The site's revival was a long-term process. During the year of closure, the staff were retained and trained to build a shared culture of care. The spaces were also completely redesigned: smoother circulation, enhanced natural light, soothing materials, and a tranquil atmosphere. The elegance is intentionally understated to allow for a sense of calm and relaxation.
At the heart of the experience, the seawater marine circuit becomes the true therapeutic foundation of the place. Heated pool, eucalyptus-infused hammam, sauna and relaxation areas They create a sensory immersion that affects circulation, muscle relaxation, and the nervous system. Here, the sea is not just a backdrop: it becomes a treatment in its own right.
The Thalassotherapy Centers offer a wide range of personalized rituals: signature massages, expert facial treatments, cutting-edge technologies dedicated to skin recovery and beauty. Among the innovations is a cold flotation bed unique in France, the ZerobodyCryo, or even high-precision skin diagnostics allowing each protocol to be adapted.
The experience comes in various formats: access to the marine spa, long rituals, half-days or full days of treatments, not forgetting experiences for two in dedicated cabins.
More than a spa, the Thermes Marins de Marseille are now establishing themselves as a place of regeneration facing the sea, where luxury is measured by time, silence and the quality of presence.
