After several years spent in the United States, Shirley returned to Marseille determined to maintain her fitness routine. Unable to find the options she was looking for, she decided to create her own space. While she discovered and practiced Lagree in Canada, it was in Bali that she drew the inspiration to adapt it and create her Marseille studio: Orah. "Each session is a challenge, a school of resilience and control," she explains. In this intimate space with its sleek design, only six machines are installed to guarantee semi-private classes, exclusively reserved for women. "The closeness that this slow and sophisticated discipline entails didn't seem compatible with a mixed practice," Shirley confides. Located on the garden level of a luxury building, this unexpected space reflects her attachment to the Island of the Gods. Orah, which means "light" in Hebrew and also evokes the personal aura, offers a holistic experience: infrared sauna, latte bar and collagen drinks, LED mask sessions, as well as a program of events with a spiritual dimension (sound healing, sound bath, etc.). More than a Lagree studio, Orah aims to be a space dedicated to the harmony between body and mind, faithful to Shirley's conviction: "A perfect body only makes sense if the mind is well."
