Suits in the spotlight.
Figaret moved into this space on Cours Mirabeau a few months ago but has already left town. Its place was almost instantly taken by De Fursac, a brand known for French elegance and perfectly-cut suits. All their fabrics are Italian, from leading drapers renowned for the quality of their woollen cloth. The suits in the new shop are about one-third business, one-third evening and morning dress and one-third casual chic. It's the casual suits that are driving the brand's sales. Style decisions are now taken by Gauthier Borsarello, an expert in French vintage who was appointed creative director in January this year.
