Villa Tamaris Centre d’art TPM

Images and wonders

This art centre, overlooking the bay of Lazaret, is dedicated to the visual arts, concentrating on photography and video. Yann Arthus-Bertrand and, last autumn, Peter Lindbergh lit up these walls with their vision... Willy Ronis is expected this summer. The villa regularly hosts artists in residence.

La Chaudronnerie

Curtain raising

It’s the place to be for great entertainment: theatre, classical or popular music, gipsy jazz or opera, the programme is dense and eclectic. A place where you can meet friends for a drink before a performance. Meetings, conferences, a springboard for local artists with the La Ciotat en Scène festival (2 to 6 May), and exhibitions...

Eclectic breeding ground

Behind the enthusiasm of its director, Jean-Pierre Blanc, there are landmark events in the frenetic catwalk calendar...
