Until 13 September the exhibition Dolce Vita? From Liberty to Italian Design spotlights the genesis of Italian Modernism (1900 to 1940) with the help of Officine Panerai. What could be more natural for the watch house founded in Florence in 1860 than to celebrate Italian craftsmanship? As the 1940s saw the birth of Italian design's first stars, the watchmaker was innovating as it created a commando watch for the Italian navy. Having partnered the Académie des César for the last 11 years, the Place Vendôme name organises an annual Revelations Night featuring a video publicising the new guard, directed this year by Mathieu César.

Last but not least, Audemars Piguet is Art Basel's associate partner and official timekeeper, receiving visitors in an exclusive lounge during the Hong Kong, Basel and Miami fairs. But that's not all! Since 2014 Audemars Piguet's art committee has been helping emerging artists create outstanding artworks. In addition to financial help, the committee enables artists to tackle new projects by providing them with state-of-the-art tools, craft skills and knowhow.
