Elegant, ageless dials come clad in classic deep black. Against this opaque backdrop, time ticks by in superb contrasts.

Chanel, Neo dandy.

The Rue Cambon fashion house is offering its Monsieur de Chanel watch in platinum with a black grand-feu enamel dial, in a limited edition of 100. The 40mm timepiece is powered by the Calibre I and incorporates novel complications: instant jumping hours and a retrograde minute hand on a 240° arc.

Tudor,urban chic
With a honed caseband, a 41mm case, a flat sapphire glass and a fixed bezel in polished steel, Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay exudes sophistication. It comes on a steel bracelet or a brown leather strap with an extra strap in camouflage-coloured fabric.

Rolex Joyous iteration.
The manufacture presents a gem-set version of its benchmark sailing watch, the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 40. In Everose gold with a shiny black dial, it is illuminated by a revolving bezel adorned with multi-coloured sapphires, tsavorites and a diamond at 12 o’clock.
