As seen on the catwalks
More accessible, more whimsical, the jewellery spotted on the catwalks sets the tone for the season: a tendency towards extravagance.

Dior. Sparkling necklace
Jewellery has certain similarities to textile pieces as items of clothing or scarves. Proof of this is the Dior Dream necklace: indistinguishable from a precious collar, in gold-finish metal, pearls and red tulle.
After the lighter case necklace by Hedi Slimane for Celine comes another hijacked object, this time by Chanel: a vanity-style micro-bag mounted on a chain for lipstick, hydrogel, or bubblegum.
Omnipresent for several seasons now, big link chains, pinched from the bad boys, are becoming more and more gentrified, giving a twist to the most sensible of looks.
The less is more approach is over. In 2021, you can never overdo it with your jewellery. At Balmain, the earrings are outrageous.
