Party        Girl

Night owls and disco queens know that nothing beats a stunning set of jewellery when it comes to sparkling on a night out. Rock symbols, oversize links, overlays and ear cuffs come together in style.

Who doesn’t remember how Kate Moss looked at the Glastonbury Festival? Oozing rock glam and bohemian chic, she was pictured with the Balenciaga bag that savvy fashionistas had been fawning over for weeks. In 2024, the new icons look to jewellery to turn heads. In the aisles of the English festival, singer Dua Lipa and actress Anya Taylor-Joy went the Tiffany & Co. route in their bid to stand out. The first diva took to the stage in leather, with geometric chain links in white gold and diamonds from the HardWear collection that paired with Knot rings. When not performing, she had layered crosses around her neck, including the pendant by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. Like the two influencers, girls with style know that nothing beats a well-designed jewellery set to really rock a look. The little black dress, a man’s suit, hot pants and tank tops or the jeans/shirt combo wouldn’t be much without their sparkling sidekicks. Admittedly, gold and diamonds shine brighter in the glow of the moonlight or under the spotlights at the hottest clubs.

Neo 80s and chiaroscuro

It’s no surprise that Valérie Messika has dedicated her latest high jewellery collection to party animals. The second opus in the Midnight Sun collection plays around with contrasts, exploring chiaroscuro. The oversized So Move Max set alternates pavé and baguette-cut diamonds, while the White Midnight Sun set surfs on the neo-80s punk movement. And certainl y makes a statement! The Super Arrow collection by New York jeweller Jacob & Co is just as irresistible, with a motif as hard-hitting as Cupid’s arrow. Layer on layer of bracelets, earrings and rings to bring a rock-chic feel to any outfit. The art of jewellery stacking takes centre stage in the Dear Muse collection by the Japanese brand Ahkah. Drawing inspiration from medieval mosaics, this innovative design is enhanced with diamonds. Earrings, studs and hoops are worn all around the ear.

Up to your ears

A fashionista fetish, earcuffs turn heads in Chaumet’s Bee My Love earring collection. In pink gold studded with diamonds, this precious piece brings an ultra-modern edge to any look. Other charms for dedicated partygoers include incarnations of the iconic Bulgari snake: the Serpenti Viper collection is extended with five new pieces in pink or yellow gold, lit up with semi-pavé diamonds. The next nocturnal icon is the river of diamonds: several bezels embedded with stones, like Boucheron’s Rivière Vendôme bracelet. Finally, there is no doubt that the new Galons Dior creations, aglow with seemingly random patterns and lines, will appeal to the most discerning eye, from the mismatched stud earrings to the multi-row necklace in yellow, pink and diamond gold. Simply irresistible!
