The Javanese, a journey to Little Africa

Nestled in the bay of La Petite Afrique in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, La Javanaise is reinventing the beach-restaurant experience for its third season. This intimate address cultivates a Mediterranean lifestyle enhanced by an immersive daily cultural program.
The 2025 decor pays homage to the poetic origins of the space with an acoustic wall transformed into an artistic fresco by Ateliers de Lulu. Coconut shades, terracotta and green colors, Casa Cubista tableware, and Kave Home cushions create a grounded and feminine atmosphere. Every detail evokes that legendary night supposedly between Gainsbourg and Gréco.
Jean-Philippe Blondet, three-star chef at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, presents a generous menu celebrating local produce. A major new addition: Simone Pasqua, 2019 French acrobatic pizza champion, presides over a real traditional oven with her signature custom-made dough.
Each evening unfolds its universe: Java Cinema (Monday), Sweet Java with harp (Tuesday), Java Club DJ set (Wednesday), Java Opera (Thursday), Java of the Forgotten (Friday), Java Live performances (Saturday), Java Zen (Sunday). Coachellito Production inaugurates this enhanced program.
