Chocolate Texture: Géraldine Martens' first exhibition at Espace Jouenne

From September 4 to 7, 2025, Espace Jouenne will host the very first exhibition by photographer Géraldine Martens. Entitled "Chocolate Texture," this original series highlights chocolate as you've never seen it before. Far from purely gourmet clichés, Géraldine explores the material in its multiple forms, in collaboration with chefs who agree to venture outside their comfort zone. The result: 12 new textures translated into photographic triptychs (texture, creation, and portrait of the chef), for a total of 36 images, exhibited for the first time in a gallery after a first notable preview at the Salon du Chocolat Paris 2024. "I wanted to give chocolate new textures, sometimes even outside the culinary lexicon, without ever taking away its deliciousness," explains the photographer. A sensory dive between art and indulgence, where chocolate becomes an artistic material, a terrain of experimentation and visual poetry.
