A daily life at the source

Useful, functional, unbridled, imaginative, and radiant! In the heart of Marseille and its surrounding areas, a generation attentive to the world around us is enveloping our interiors, inside and out, with thoughtful touches and striking objects... opening the door to new uses.

Mio Palmo, The glass washed up on our shores

Shards washed up on the sand, shapes and uses diverted to reinvent everyday life in complete transparency… This is the respectful cycle that drives Nicolas Seulin, Simon Cristofano and Caroline Long, at the heart of this small Marseille company engaged in the upcycling of sea glass. At the origin of this artisanal tableware drawing its reflections from the waves, a united challenge: “from polished, rejected, collected debris, to our valued creations, we protect the Mediterranean.” At will, sustainable, joyful and responsible cups, glasses and carafes set tables and aperitifs, like a breath of iodine and sunshine…

Good Design Store & Studio Ralston Bau, Close Ethics

"Reducing our ecological impact, the amount of waste we generate, and relocating expertise" is the avowed leitmotif of Benjamin Bonneville, who has been at the helm of this essential address located in the heart of the city, in Marseille and Nice, for ten years. A decade that highlights sustainable design through ten products that address current issues, recycled or manufactured locally, such as the Norman Copenhagen stool, the very graphic Poppy Potato rug by Pappelina, or the precious Calabrun candle bottle designed by Margaux Keller. For the great news of 2025, we will remember an exclusive collaboration with the Franco-Norwegian design duo Birgitta Ralston and Alexandre Bau, sailing between Bergen and Marseille, around eco-responsible furniture, designed with sobriety and practicality for useful and ultra-desirable pieces: Monologue mirror draped in leather skins, Murmur wood and textile screen or Building Flight shelf from the modular Building Canebière collection, inspired by the architect Fernand Pouillon. "Specialists in bio-materials, these versatile pieces, which can be combined and used in multiple ways, are the archetype of a design that is beneficial for the planet and the consumer." A unique proposal of precious lines, objects and containers, produced in small quantities.

Atelier Poupe, From the sea to the light

Behind these inspired creations made in Marseille, the luminous, mischievous, and poetic soul of Béatrice Sosna tells of a fertile joie de vivre that balances its beautiful vibes! In her treasure chests, ranges of 100% recycled lighting from old boat pontoon fenders (our good old fenders), confirm her environmental vision: "the world is changing and we must deeply re-consider our relationship with things. Doesn't the constantly reinvented art of decoration lie in transformation?" The die is cast. The rest is a matter of well-conducted intuition, of motionless journeys, which pushes us to take a closer look at the life of a port, the work and gestures of men through her unique pieces. Floating buoys that have become table lamps, hanging lamps, wall lamps, lanterns wired in vibrant colors, jute ropes, Sea Urchin, Knife, Sponge, Calamari, Coral versions, the sea air circulates, circulates… And it feels good! Between the walls or in the open air, halos guaranteed with waterproof and patented electrical installation, CE-standard accessories, environmentally friendly paints… We love their fashion reconversion! And because this Marseillaise has infinite tenderness for Notre Dame-de-la-Garde, she is participating in the patronage of its restoration by offering for sale or pre-order (in the eponymous boutique perched on the hill) and on her website 100 exclusive pieces, numbered in limited edition of the Couteau model, stylized with the perforated effigy of the famous Madonna…

Mamene, the lasting flame

A French house of artisanal, fragrant, and responsible creations, in a pop-up candle market, Mamène rekindles the flame of an essential everyday accessory, unique and a vector of well-being, when it is well thought out. From Paris, where they are designed, to Portugal, where they are handcrafted in natural materials near Porto de Mós (ancestral cradle of ceramics) and near the pilgrimage city of Fátima (for refills and candles), via Grasse, combining their subtle blends of vegetable wax and characterful scents, these candles, with their generous and unbridled luxury, are displayed in rich colors and shapes. Collector's pieces, to be treated like designer objects. Inspired by the optimism of the flamboyant 70s, the Pop Art movement, and the Memphis style, their signature scents Andy, Frida, Rosa, Simone, and Yvon offer a fresh and complex olfactory family: vegetal, aromatic, floral, amber, and woody. Available in Podium, Totem, or Lamp versions. We want them all!
