The Negresco rolls out the red carpet for the holiday season

This year at the Negresco, tradition is dressed in red and gold. A symbol: the key. Passage, heritage, future… the hotel celebrates this precious link between yesterday and tomorrow through its festive menus and a pastry creation that tells its story.

For Christmas Eve on December 24th, two options: Salon Royal at €195 with Terre de Toine guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts and live music, or Chantecler at €400 with Norman crab, roasted celery in a truffled pie, turbot and duck in a salt crust accompanied by pianist Luc Escolano. Plenty to choose from.

New Year's Eve on December 31st transforms the hotel into a gourmet theater. At the Salon Royal (€480), enjoy unlimited champagne and the roving quartet Seb Chaumont and his Bopster Blue, who entertain guests from table to table – featuring dishes such as beef fillet Rossini and Mediterranean red mullet. At the Chantecler (€650), the menu becomes even more refined with Mediterranean sea urchins with sea herb ice cream, scallops smoked with fir, and pan-seared sweetbreads. From midnight onwards, everyone gathers at the Salon Masséna to continue the night with music. On January 1st at noon, brunch is offered (€195) with unlimited champagne and a dedicated children's area to gently ease into the new year.

And this year, you can also experience the magic of a grand palace… at home. With the "La Clé du 6e" Yule log, created by new pastry chef Yann Le Douaron, inspired by the actual key to the elevator leading to Madame Jeanne Augier's former apartments. Beneath its sculptural lines lies a golden chocolate key with notes of orange blossom, pistachio, and mandarin. €80 for 6-8 people, available to order online and pick up at La Rotonde from December 15th to 31st.
