The Little Prince screened at the Carrières des Lumières

This summer, the Carrières des Lumières are presenting an exclusive immersive exhibition dedicated to The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint Exupéry's world-renowned masterpiece. After being presented in Bordeaux and then in Paris, this new creation promises to transport the Carrières audience into a poetic and timeless universe. In 1943, Antoine de Saint Exupéry published "The Little Prince" in New York. The following year, he mysteriously disappeared over the Mediterranean Sea aboard his P-38 Lightning, leaving us this masterful work that quickly became a worldwide success and a timeless literary classic. A journey into Saint Exupéry's poetic work This immersive exhibition invites visitors to discover or rediscover "The Little Prince" from a new perspective. Saint Exupéry's watercolors and words come to life on the floors and walls, transporting us to a world where the imagination has no limits. French voice-overs accompany the journey and bring the characters to life, making the experience even more sensitive and poetic. The roses, foxes, and snakes speak, and we travel from desert to meadow, from planet to planet without the slightest difficulty, for neither time nor space seem to have any hold. Enveloped in this poetic universe, we accompany the Little Prince in his quest to understand and tame the world around him. This quest reflects our own search for meaning and connection through the great timeless themes of the story: questions and answers, adult and child, happiness and sorrow, love and friendship, visible and invisible. "The Little Prince" invites us to look beyond appearances and rediscover our capacity for wonder.
