A short trip to Vallauris and the Magnelli Museum (which is hosting the Raysse and Prinner exhibitions until September 28) also offers the chance to discover, in the Romanesque chapel housing Picasso's War and Peace , an installation by Pascale Marthine Tayou. The Franco-Cameroonian artist, whose work explores the hybridizations between Africa and the West, has created a Survival Tree for the space , a cross between natural and artificial materials. A work that speaks to our human condition. An invitation to rebirth, too.
