A new space dedicated to families has opened in Aix-en-Provence: PalomanoThis educational game concept, already established elsewhere in France, is bringing its immersive world, designed for children aged 1 to 10, to the South of France. The idea is simple and ambitious: to offer an environment where play becomes a tool for understanding the world.
Behind the Aix-en-Provence branch are Guillaume and Alphonse Cassanet, two entrepreneurs convinced that free play is an essential foundation for child development and the parent-child relationship. Their project is based on a demanding vision: to create a a place that is both structured and welcoming, where one learns without pressure or competition.
In practical terms, Palomano functions like a small town on a child's scale. Younger children can shop in a miniature grocery store, pilot a plane, put on a firefighter's uniform, cook in a restaurant, play doctor, or settle into a reading corner suitable for toddlersEach set is designed with natural materials and appropriate proportions, fostering independence, imagination, and cooperation. Inspired by Scandinavian children's museums, the concept embraces a different pace: here, there are no screens, but an invitation to explore, manipulate, and share quality time as a family.
The Aix address is designed as a new landmark for families in the area.
The venue can also host birthday parties supervised by trained staff and offers private bookings for groups. A selection of gourmet treats completes the experience, allowing you to extend your visit with a sweet treat.
