“Four women to drive Karma’s growth”

Determined to spread new energy, she brought her two daughters and her sister into the adventure. Her communications agency now runs campaigns around the world.

 Several awards have already recognized the agency's creativity for its innovative projects in the field of health communication.

“Work is independence. My grandmother always told me, 'Work and you'll be free!' If we look at the figures worldwide, only 5% of women are business owners. So we're still in the early stages, and we sometimes forget that in France, until 1965, a woman couldn't own a checkbook without her husband's permission,” exclaims Karine Mazuir. A pure product of communications, this graduate of the IUT and the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis saw in her profession a way to make her voice heard, to uphold her values, and to open up perspectives for change. After starting her first company, Karma Production, focused exclusively on events and with which she already organized evenings for 8 people at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco thanks to her network, Karine has developed over the years a group that takes charge of brand image in all its aspects. A 000° approach.

“My sister joined us quickly, and I love working with her. We have to give credit where credit is due; she has contributed greatly to Karma’s growth. Then my two daughters joined: Jade, who is 27 and manages the film production side, and Perla, 24, who is developing the agency in Asia. Being a multigenerational company is essential, because communication evolves quickly,” continues Karine, who firmly believes in benevolent management rather than top-down methods. A certified yoga teacher, she gives classes to her teams between noon and two, for fun. “Smiling is a style exercise, and we cultivate the good karma of the brands we choose to work with. By building together, we have a real role to play in making a difference. In addition to the agency, we created a foundation, The Voice of Women at Work, whose goal is to give women a voice in the workplace.” Because we don't all start with the same opportunities, and I lost 10 years professionally with the arrival of my three children. But with us, the glass ceiling doesn't exist: 3% of Karma's internal staff are women."

Karma Communication Group

Rather than having to find an event management company, an audiovisual production company, graphic designers, and many other service providers, Karma brings together all these services under one roof, with a single point of contact for each project. Compared to the major listed companies, this family-owned, human-sized communications group, which claims its independence, has four international agencies specializing in health, medicine, and aesthetics. "We create campaigns in France, Europe, and elsewhere for the largest pharmaceutical companies. We are also very proud of the creative awards we have won several times, which is rare in our industry. Rather than operating with teams recruited for each assignment, we prefer to have a team of permanent staff," explains Karine Mazuir, who is also developing her business locally, in the luxury and entertainment sectors.
