Frojo marks the return of a Marseille icon with the Phocéa Origins

In Marseille, the house red continues the renewal of its watch collection with the launch of a new exclusive model: the Phocéa Origins. Presented as the contemporary heir to an iconic 1970s diving watch, this limited edition marks a new stage in the development of the brand's own label.

After celebrating its 170th anniversary in 2024 with the reissue of the Phocéa, Frojo is capitalizing on the enthusiasm generated by this return to its roots and is now unveiling a revisited version, produced in only 200 copies. The original spirit is preserved, but the aesthetic evolves towards a more urban and contemporary feel. Designed to combine performance and legibility, the Phocéa Origins features a 42mm steel case and is water-resistant to 200 meters. Its black dial, contrasted by large luminescent hour markers, prioritizes clarity. At six o'clock, a designation pays tribute to its Marseille roots, while the sapphire bezel incorporates a graduation inspired by the safety tables of the French Navy. A further nod to the brand's origins appears in the inscription of the coordinates of its historic address at 6 rue Paradis.

Mechanically, the model features a France Ébauches automatic movement, beating at 4 Hz, with a claimed power reserve of 44 hours. A three-link steel bracelet, a second rubber option, and a black leather case: every detail enhances the balance between technicality and elegance.

With a two-year warranty, the Phocéa Origins is available for €1,495 in Frojo stores and online.
