What is our relationship with food? What do we really eat, and how? In the secret and convivial space of the Maison des Artistes on the Place du Château, this exhibition brings together the works of more than 20 artists. While Isabelle Varlet speaks to us through braided loaves of bread about the memory of gestures, those that remain when we have forgotten everything, Magali Benso highlights the alchemy of cooking in these recipes passed down through the generations. Because eating is not just a material matter; there is something there that relates to emotion, to the energy of sharing. If each culture has its own customs surrounding the meal, the artists gathered for this event together compose a long table. A generous exhibition.
