Amista, meaning friendship in Provençal, has been occupying the former Hôtel Le Saint-Louis for several weeks. After a complete renovation carried out alongside interior designer Dorothée Delaye, Amista offers its guests a leap back in time. And yet. The resolutely Provençal decor of this authentic home, embodied and imbued with its history and its city, allows it to be reborn. With three predominant color themes—pink, blue, and yellow—the establishment's 24 rooms develop their uniqueness around second-hand objects and unique pieces. Behind this renovation project is the Ginto group, and more specifically Brice, Julien, and Emmanuelle, who between them now own eight hotels of the same caliber in France. Their leitmotif: taking care of their employees so that they themselves take care of customers. A promise kept, according to Célia Bissuel, current director of the hotel and restaurant. Their ambition: to restore a sense of hospitality and proximity to the hotel industry, and above all, to offer five-star service in establishments that, on paper, only have three. A real challenge in this neighborhood undergoing gentrification, but which is becoming more and more beautiful every day. To complete the hotel offering, Ginto has partnered with The Small Group to revive the ground-floor bistro. Open from breakfast to after-work, with its rich cocktails, Louison seems destined for greatness.
