In creating the elite perfume brand Les Parfums de Marly, Julien Sprecher wanted to evoke the opulence of the receptions Louis XV used to give at Château de Marly. The brand’s first store, which opened in December, is clearly inspired by that flamboyant world: mouldings, black and white marble floor, old paintings and perfume fountains. In March two new eaux de parfum, Athalia (predominantly white musk and orange blossom) and Nisean (woody-leather) join the collection of five fragrances launched last spring.
