The celebrated Rolex manufacture has opened its first store in Marseille, in partnership with Frojo the jeweller (now represented by the family's5th generation). "The opening of this first monobrand store in Marseille is the fruit of our collaboration with Rolex over several generations," says a delighted Édouard Frojo. His firm has long been Rolex's partner in the South of France. The 120m2 store in Marseille's golden triangle near the Vieux Port boasts a decor

in line with the new concept Rolex is applying worldwide: walls in ridged stone or beige stucco, cream-coloured leather, display cases with walnut wood frames. The ambience is warm, low-key and comfortable with its light-coloured leather seating. One stucco wall is emblazoned with the brand's mythic crown symbol. Away from the main sales space, a comfortable lounge with bookcase, armchairs and coffee table provides a more private setting where the most exclusive timepieces are displayed. A mezzanine overlooking the shop houses the after-sales service workshop where a watchmaker trained to Rolex quality standards is hard at work. In a word, between the setting, the service and the
knowledgeable advice, everything is on hand to make
shopping at Rolex a truly wonderful experience.

Every style from Oyster to Cellini
Luxury timepiece aficionados and collectors are seriously spoilt here! The store stocks a wide selection, from the classic and professional models of the Oyster collection to the elegant watches of the Cellini line. Who wouldn't be bowled over by the latest Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, ideal for travellers with its two time zones and annual calendar, or the new red and blue bezel of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master? And since we're in Marseille, Rolex has made a point of showing its range of divers' watches. There's the legendary Submariner but also the Sea-Dweller 4000, designed in 1967 for deep-sea diving pioneers, equipped with the famous helium valve and waterproof to a depth of 1200m. Then there's the Deepsea, the extreme symbol of Rolex's waterproofing mastery (to 3900m depth). But if you go for elegance you may prefer the classic lines of the Cellini collection, relaunched in 2014, with its 12 sleek, contemporary variants.
