Maria Luisa's ideal wardrobe

Printemps' fashion editor has gone to town selecting the season's it-looks for us.

Internationally acclaimed trendsetter Maria Luisa needs no introduction. As fashion editor for Printemps she has put her sharp eye and her talent at the store's service. "I am the fashion spotter, I take an across-the-board approach. I work with the sales, marketing and communication people to maintain our groundbreaking role and keep Printemps ahead of the field, a Mecca of fashion." In her shops-in-shop at the Terrasses du Port's Printemps store, she has adapted her selection to Southern tastes. "It's a trial run that I hope will be fruitful so as to bring in other designers. I've opted for gay collections. Marseille is a sunshine city, so we want bright colours and cheerful prints."

Isabel Marant and Kenzo, the season's winning combo
And for Spring 2014? "Younger people can't go wrong with the trio everyone's after: a Kenzo sweatshirt with Isabel Marant tie-dyed jeans and sneakers." And if we want a more classic and elegant look? "At Diane von Fürstenberg the favourite is a wrapover dress. I also like the panther-print dress and coat look for a self-assured forty-something woman. Or take Joseph, with its very feminine wardrobe." And from Vanessa Bruno? If you don't fall for a bag, you will for the little print dresses, a pleated skirt, the inevitable combishorts or the striped denim biker jacket. Fashion victims, you know where to go!
