Antibes patissier Christian Cottard is getting himself talked about again with his new and characterful HQ, for which he and his life partner, Andréa, tackled the not inconsiderable task of transforming what used to be a chocolatier’s into a veritable temple of sweet delights. The flower-surrounded building is open from breakfast to afternoon tea so you can savour the delicious treats (babas, millefeuilles, macaroons etc) that made the reputation of the man who used to be the Louis XV’s pastry chef. And that’s not all, La Closerie also serves food and has a pastry school upstairs.
