This place is simply incredible: an oasis of greenery for all who love fine food, beneath the Intercontinental Carlton on the Croisette. Chic party-spirited décor (paper lanterns, green walls, fairy lights, white furniture), top-notch cuisine and inventive cocktails make up the winning formula devised by two Londoners. Young chef Rudy Conzales learnt his love of quality produce, precise cooking and impeccable presentation at the Martinez and Bruno Oger’s Villa Archange. His most striking dishes include a tartare of bream with peaches and green asparagus, a fillet of bass a la plancha, and a Black Angus rib steak with crushed potatoes with truffles. The bar flaunts an original cocktail list compiled by famous London mixologist Dave Tregenza, as in Hawaiian Sour: cachaça, pineapple, lemon juice, cane sugar and... cured ham!
