Lingerie house Lise Charmel begins a new chapter in its history with the opening of its first Paris store. And naturally it’s chosen the left bank as showcase for its chic undies. The building was once the stables of the real-life musketeer d’Artagnan and has more recently housed other fashion and luxury brands. The 400m2 premises include the 200m2 store, a showroom, couture studios and the brand’s Paris headquarters. The decor is elegant, contemporary and welcoming, with dressed stone, white epoxy, brushed aluminium, grey lacy-patterned panels and shades of pinky-beige. Meanwhile on the right bank, in the Marais, the Simone Pérèle brand opens it first lingerie and swimwear shop in the capital this April.
